Improved connectivity between suburban communities and key regional destinations in SE Wales and SW England through new services and stations


Addtional rail services are South-East Wales Transport Commission’s recommendations for tacking vehicle congestion on the M4 Motorway


Transport for Wales have proposals for five new railway stations between Cardiff Central and Severn Tunnel Junction and new cross border rail services


Extended Connections

The new stations will be served by existing and new Cardiff to Cheltenham rail services, and new Cardiff to Bristol services

Up to four new trains an hour - in addition to existing GWR long-distance trains which serve Cardiff – Bristol
